Stephen Tonti is a freelance writer, director, photographer and public speaker based in New York City. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, raised in Dallas, Texas and holds a B.F.A. in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University. 

He has held many positions in various companies mostly involving Film, Theatre, or Music production. Companies like The Wild Honey Pie (Music Video Creative Agency), Roundabout Theatre Company, Manhattan Theatre Club, Lincoln Center, Dallas Theatre Center, HEARST Media Group, LAUNCH Presents: TBD Fest, and Hooke Audio. He has assisted for Jacob Jaffke, Paula Wagner, Katherine Brook, and Kevin Moriarty. 

Stephen has had his work presented at Shot For Shot film festival, Roundabout Theatre Company's Spring Gala, Playground: A Festival of New Work, The Wild Honey Pie, Style of Sound, Brooklyn Vegan, and Billboard. 

Stephen is a Co-Founder of Vin Fiz Productions and an Associate Producer at Third Space Theater. 

He also speaks publicly about growing up with ADHD and in 2013 spoke at TEDx CMU. His speech is on YouTube and has since gathered over 700,000 views.
